Spring Break

Dream come true for the boys...seeing a REAL train up close at a railroad station! Drew was intrigued but Reid was a little more hesitant. (Especially after the train blew its very loud whistle!) Thank you, Mimi, for taking us to the train station!

We have had a relaxing and much needed break from our normal routine. The first part of the week we had fun celebrating Pop Pop's birthday, going to the library, and having a playdate. Then, the boys had a big "spend the night party" with Nana and Pop Pop for a few days, and then with Mimi and Ro Ro for a another night while Andy and I managed to sneak away to the BEACH! It was so wonderful and we returned so well rested! I don't think the boys missed us too much seeing how their schedule was packed with so much fun! They played at the McWane Center and the park and even got to visit Ro Ro at the "real" train station. They also played with Uncle K.C. who taught them how to climb their first tree! (yikes!)Although I enjoyed a little escape, I must say I was very ready to hold and snuggle my boys by day 3!

Drew "decorated" Pop Pop's cake....a little Mickey Mouse, Swiper, plastic grass, and beautiful star candles. Oh, and let's not forget to notice the number 3! He was so proud!
